Program Excursions

ILSI offers an intensive activity and social program outside of the classroom.

The program is spent in Cambridge, Massachusetts on the campus of Harvard Law School (Wasserstein Hall). Cambridge is just less than 5 km away from Boston, where you will have a chance to explore Massachusetts’ capital and largest city.

While experiencing the Harvard Law School Campus, you will get to know the town of Cambridge through campus tours, museum visits, and walking tours. Boston is one of the largest cities on the east coast of America with an array of attractions and historical landmarks. A Boston City tour is the best way to get acquainted with the city including a visit to Quincy Market, built in the 1800s, which now offers visitors a unique shopping experience. Additional Boston attractions include a Red Sox baseball game, the Museum of Fine Arts, and local concerts.

A full day may be spent in Salem, located north of Boston and is known for the notorious witch trials that took place here in 1692. Delegates also have the opportunity to explore the Peabody Essex Museum which is the oldest continuously operated museum in the US. In addition, delegates can taste this area’s most famous dish: New England Lobster!

Social activities will include team building activities, meeting local students from Harvard University, experiencing 4th of July fireworks, and making new friends at the Welcome Party and Farewell dinner.

Throughout the program, there will also be a variety of engaging evening talks and presentations from academics as well as corporate visits with managers and representatives of national and international institutions. This is an excellent opportunity to expand their network and gain practical business experience.
